Los Angeles-based partnership pilots infrastructure design process

This partnership will work to update water infrastructure while focusing on public health, community justice and more.

Belinda Faustinos, strategic advisor of the Infrastructure Justice for LA Coalition, and Rebecca Ferdman, a sustainability policy director in LA County’s Chief Sustainability Office, discuss the joint effort between their two entities. The Infrastructure Justice for LA Coalition and LA County’s Chief Sustainability Office are piloting a community-led infrastructure design process that includes various mult-benefit projects that focus on stormwater elements but also public health, equity, and social and community justice.
